Basic Commands Arm/Lock Press and release The vehicle doors lock, siren/horn sound, parking lights flash, and alarm* features are enabled. The 2-way remote control confirms by using LED and tone. If an alarm zone is active (e.g. door is open) an alert message will follow. If a Valet mode is enabled the 2-way remote control confirms by using LED and tones accordingly. -

Remote Start Press and release Activates the remote starter. The engine and parking lights turn On and the Remote start LED and On tones play, or the engine and parking lights turn Off and the Remote start LED and Off tones play to confirm. If a Remote start configuration issue prevents the engine from starting, a fault tone plays while the parking lights flash to identify the fault. -

Sometimes when I press my astrostart key pod (2625D-TX) to activate the remote start...allthe lights on the remote activate in sequence and the car will not start remotely. How do I correct this?
If your AstroStart DSP625 remote start is not activating and the key pod lights flash in sequence, it indicates a configuration issue or fault. Follow these steps to troubleshoot and fix the issue:
1. Identify Flash Pattern: Count the number of parking light flashes. Each pattern corresponds to a specific fault:
- 5 flashes: Foot brake is on – release the brake.
- 6 flashes: Hood is open – close the hood.
