All sensor data, including nominal diameter, pipe type etc. are set at the factory. All the sensor's parameter settings are
saved on the HistoROM/S-DAT™ memory chip.
Normally, these functions do not require changing, from the original commissioning parameters, unless the flow meter is
relocated to another pipe or duct. In this case, the relevant pipe parameters can be handled via the Quick Setup commis-
sioning menu.

Incorrect adjustment of these parameters can have an adverse affect on the calculated flow value.

PIPE TYPE Use this function to select the type of pipe used in the application for an insertion type
sensor.

This function is not available for a t-mass F type sensor.

Factory setting:
CIRCULAR
NOMINAL DIAMETER Use this function to view the nominal diameter of the pipe with which the flow meter
was calibrated.
Display:
e. g. DN80 or 3"
Factory setting:
depends on the size of the sensor

• For insertion type sensors used on line sizes > DN100 (4") the display shows DN175
• The appropriate unit is taken from the function UNIT LENGTH in the function group
INTERNAL Use this function to enter the internal diameter of a circular pipe.

This function is not available for t-mass F type sensors or if RECTANGULAR is selected in
the function PIPE TYPE.
