    ISMP4 is battery powered, use only Ingenico parts for replacement. ISMP4 can be powered by different sources please respect these recommendations: ISMP4 can be powered by using the USB-C power supply provided by Ingenico in the packaging. Failure to comply with these instructions will void the manufacturer’s responsibility.

    3_Recommendations 3_1 Safety Lithium back-up battery The ISMP4 is fitted with a lithium battery which is not accessible to the user. Only a qualified technician may be authorized to open the unit and change this component. Main battery ISMP4 is fitted with battery specially designed for this terminal.

    Please dispose of used batteries following instructions in section 6.4. 4_3 Charging iSMP4 Before using ISMP4 for the first time, you need to charge it for about 4 hours. After that, you can charge the ISMP4. (3 hours maximum to recharge the battery to full capacity).
