Checking the oil pressure sensor

1. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor cou-
pler a, and then connect the test har-
ness (3 pins) a.

2. Turn the engine start switch to "ON," and
then measure the oil pressure sensor
input voltage.
Oil pressure sensor input voltage:
Orange (O)–Black (B)
4.75 V–5.25 V
3. Start the engine and warm up, and then
measure the oil pressure sensor output
voltage at the stable idle condition of
650–750 r/min.
Oil pressure sensor output voltage
(reference data):
Pink/White (P/W)–Black (B)
2.8 V at 450.0 kPa (4.50 kgf/cm
psi) and 60 °C (140 °F) with SL 10W-
30 engine oil and at 700 r/min
4. Turn the engine start switch to "OFF," and
then disconnect the test harness a.
5. Remove the junction box cover, and then
disconnect the engine ECM coupler b.

6. Check the wiring harness for continuity.

Terminal 1–Terminal 10
Terminal 2–Terminal 8
Terminal 3–Terminal 29
7. Connect the engine ECM coupler b, and
then install the junction box cover.

a.

Checking the hour meter

1. Disconnect the hour meter coupler a.
2. Turn the engine start switch to "ON," and
then measure the input voltage.
