Checking the throttle link

1. Check the throttle lever 1, roller and throt-
tle cam. Replace if cracked or worn.
2. Check the throttle lever 2, and throttle link
rod. Replace if cracked or worn.
3. Check the spring. Replace if fatigued or
deformed.

Installing the throttle link

1. Install the roller a, washer b, wave
washer c, and collar d onto the throttle
lever 1 e.
2. Install the throttle lever 1 e to the cylin-
der block.

3. When setting the spring f onto the throt-
tle cam g, make sure to fit the end a of
the spring into the slot b in the throttle
cam g and then install the washer h,
wave washer i, and collar j onto the
throttle cam g.

4. Install the throttle cam g to the cylinder
block. Make sure to fit the end c of the
spring on the projection d in the cylinder
block.

5. Install the throttle link rod k, washer l,
wave washer m, and collar n onto the
throttle lever 2 o.
6. Install the throttle lever 2 o to the cylin-
der block.

7. Install the throttle link rod k to the throt-
tle cam g.

8. Check that the throttle lever 1 e, throttle
cam g and throttle control lever 2 o,
move smoothly.
