Using the Washer, Wiper, and Auxiliary Controls

The Wiper, Washer, and auxiliary (AUX) controls are included in the group of
miscellaneous controls (Figure 33):

Washer

1.
Select the Washer button to initiate a wash cycle for the selected camera.

Wiper

1.
Select the Wiper button to initiate a wiping cycle for the selected camera.

Auxiliary (AUX 1 to AUX 4)

1.
Select the AUX 1, AUX 2, AUX 3, or AUX 4, button to switch the
corresponding auxiliary circuit (lights, for example) on (if it is off) or off (if it is
on) for the selected camera.

The Washer button directs a short stream of washing fluid to the
outer surface of the lens port whenever it is selected.
The Wiper button operates the lens port wiper blade for a short
period of time whenever it is selected.
The AUX 1, AUX 2, AUX 3, and AUX 4 buttons act as a toggle and
are highlighted (darkened) while the corresponding circuit is closed.
