Unmounting the telephone

Unmounting of a desktop phone
• Lift and remove the connection cable.
• Carefully remove the base in reverse direction.
Unmounting of a wall-mounted phone
• Slide the phone carefully upwards and remove it from the base.
• Lift and remove the connection cable.

Connection of an M530 extension module

Note:
Always disconnect the phone from the power supply before mounting/dismounting the
M530 extension keypad.
• Remove the connecting cable of the phone from the socket at the bottom of the phone.
• Attach the M530 extension keypad as described in the mounting instructions to the right
of the phone, until it snaps in place visibly and audibly.
• Insert the link cable connector into the additional device sockets located under the phone
and under the extension keypad.
• Guide the cable through the cable duct below the M530 extension keypad.
• Insert the phone connection cable back into the socket below the phone. The M530
extension keypad is now ready for operation.
• If required, connect it to the mains supply.
