Note
The copy and exchange function of outputs is only integrated into Switch
Actuators of the type SA/S x.16.6.1 and SA/S x.16.5.1.
Parameterization of devices can take a lot of time depending on the
complexity of the application and the number of device outputs. To keep the
commissioning work to the minimum possible, using the function
Copy/exchange channels, parameter settings of an output can be copied or
exchanged with freely selectable outputs. Optionally, the group addresses
can be retained, copied or deleted in the target output.
The copy function of outputs is particularly useful with Switch Actuators that
have several outputs with the same parameter settings. For example,
lighting in a room is frequently controlled in an identical manner. In this case,
the parameter settings from output X of a Switch Actuator can be copied to
all other outputs or to a special output of the Switch Actuator. Thus the
parameters for this output must not be set separately, which significantly
shortens the commissioning time. The copy function is only available for the
SA/S x.16.6.1 and SA/S x.16.5.1.
The exchange of parameter settings is useful, e.g. should the outputs be
swapped when wiring the terminals. The parameter settings of the
incorrectly wired outputs can be simply exchanged saving the requirement
for time-consuming rewiring.
