Prepare the source you want to play when
the timer goes off.
If you have selected "CD", place a disc in the disc tray.
If you have selected "USB", connect a USB flash drive or
an iPod.
If you have selected "SD", insert an SD card.
If you have selected "TU FM" or "TU AM", tune in a
station.

Press the STANDBY/ON button to put the
unit into standby.
The standby indicator lights.
The unit will turn on and off at the specified times
every day.
The unit must be in standby for the timer to
work.

Turning off the timer
Press the TIMER button to turn the timer off.
"TIMER OFF" appears on the display.
Press the TIMER button again to turn the timer on again.
Checking the timer setting
Press the TIME MODE button to check the timer setting.
