If your computer comes with a full-length PCI card, refer to "Full-length PCI card" on page 154 for its
replacement instructions.
To install or replace a PCI card, do the following:
1. Prepare your computer. See "Preparing your computer and removing the computer cover" on page 99.
2. Lay the computer on its side for easier access to the system board.
3. If you are replacing a PCI card with a PCI card retainer installed, remove the retainer first.
