• For information about how to connect other wires, such as power wires to locks, readers
and other devices, see the manufacturers' instructions.
5. Collect all the wires neatly and secure them using the supplied cable ties.
6. Label the cables for future reference.
7. If using Power over Ethernet, connect the network cable to the network.
8. If using Ethernet and external power (10–30 V DC), connect the network cable to the
network and connect power. Use a SELV compliant limited power source (LPS). For more
information, see Power Connector on page 25.

9. Make sure that the LEDs indicate the correct conditions. See LED Indicators on page 18.
10. Attach the cover to the base and tighten the cover screw.
