Replacing the MenuSelect BCX14E Float System with Water Sensor
1. Disconnect the float switch tube from the stainless tube fitting near the top rear of the boiler.
2. Disconnect the wiring to the floats at the quick connects.
3. Remove the float switch can assembly completely from the nipple welded into the boiler.
4. Install the brass barbed fitting provided onto the nipple welded into the boiler. Apply sealant and tighten fitting
with a wrench to ensure a leak-proof connection.
5. Push silicone tube onto brass barbed fitting.
6. Mount sensor bracket to the boiler support bracket with the bolt that mounts the boiler to the boiler support
bracket.
7. Connect the silicone tube top to the stainless tube fitting referred to in step 1. Clamp both ends of the clear
silicone tubing with the hose clamps previously removed.

Make these wiring connections: Water Sensor Wire BL-1 to Oven Harness BL-6; Water Sensor Wire V-1 to
Oven Harness V-3; Water Sensor Wire RD-1 to Oven Harness RD-8; Disconnect BK-10/BK-23 from the
boiler fill solenoid black wire. Connect Water Sensor Wires BK-1/BK-2 to ¼" male Faston terminal on the
boiler fill solenoid black wire. Then connect BK-10/BK-23 female terminal to Water Sensor Wire BK-2 male
terminal.
