Tilt Lock Replacement

Vari-Lite Part No: 10.9698.1765
To remove and replace tilt lock:
Step 1. Remove power from luminaire.
WARNING: You must remove all power from luminaire before performing maintenance. Fixture
may be very HOT after operation. Allow it to cool completely before performing any maintenance.
Step 2. Remove Tilt Motor and Belt following instructions outlined in
Tilt Belt Replacement" on page
Step 3. Remove Pan Tube Wire Protection Bushing.
Step 4. Using a 2.5 mm Allen Wrench, remove Tilt Pulley by removing three M5 x 10MM STL
CUP PT screws.
Step 5. At Tilt Lock, remove four 6-32x3/16" PPZ screws and washers. Noting orientation remove
tilt lock plate.
Step 6. Replace in reverse order.
NOTE:
