Zoom Optics - Zoom (Actuator) Motor Replacement

Vari-Lite Part No: 44.9698.0147 (Motor Assembly)
Vari-Lite Part No: 10.9698.0146 (Shaft)
To remove and replace a zoom actuator motor:
Step 1. Remove power from luminaire.
WARNING: You must remove all power from luminaire before performing maintenance. Fixture
may be very HOT after operation. Allow it to cool completely before performing any maintenance.
Step 2. Remove optics from fixture following procedure described in
Replacement" on page
Step 3. Remove zoom tray light baffle by removing two 8-32 x 3/8" PPB SEMS screws.
Note: In next step, do not disconnect wiring, just move mount to side.
Step 4. Remove zoom mount by removing three 8-32 x 3/8" PPB SEMS screws. Move aside.
