Physical installation

The SAGEM F@st™ 1201/1241 may be placed on a desktop or mounted vertically on a wall.
Desktop mounting
Rest the SAGEM F@st™ 1201/1241 unit on its four non-slip feet.
Check that the various cables are run correctly, to avoid any risk of tension in the cable or
toppling the unit.
Note: Vertically stacking units is strictly prohibited.
Wall mounting
The SAGEM F@st™ 1201/1241 unit is designed for wall mounting with the connection side
downward.
Fixing accessories are not supplied. Wall mounting instructions are as follows:
Use two 4 mm wall plugs + two 3 mm round headed screws.
Choose an area of wall that is clean, dry and even.
Mark two points 84 mm horizontal apart.
Drill two 4 mm diameter holes and insert the plugs.
Screw the screws into the plugs, leaving the screwheads about 4 mm away from the wall
surface.
Offer up the base of the unit to the screws and lower the button hole openings in the base
onto the two screws.

2 - Description and connection of your router
local network (LAN) LED:
This LED indicates data traffic between the router and the
different Ethernet interface.
This LED is off if the Ethernet interface is not detected.
This LED blinks when traffic is detected on the Ethernet
interface.
This LED is lit when the Ethernet interface is detected.

This LED is off if the USB interface is not detected.
This LED blinks when traffic is detected on the USB
interface.
This LED is lit when the USB interface is detected.
