Initialization

It is necessary to set the frequency and initialize the radio before tuning because there is no wanted information in
EEPROM when the radio is manufactured.
Turn on the radio while holding down P2, and then release them to enter frequency initiliazation. Observe the
display and select an item through the Up/Down arrow keys. The display may show the following items:
"0" (TM-610V)
"1" (TM-610U1)
"2" (TM-610U2)
"3" (TM-610U3)
"4" (TM-610U4)
"5" (TM-610U5)
"6" (TM-610U6, for Taiwan only)
"7" (TM-610U7)
Then press the [P4] again to save data. See the Model table below.
LED on the front panel stops flashing, indicating that the initialization is completed.

Tuning

Some items can be tuned in the conventional mode and the others can be tuned manually.
Turn on the radio to enter the conventional mode.
Turn off the radio. And then turn the radio back on while holding down P1. The radio enters manual tuning mode. The
channel number is displayed on LCD.
