Utility Sewing
Note:
- Ensure that the needle higher than
needle plate and fabric before
rotate the stitch selector. Otherwise
will bent the needle.
-Rotate the Hand Wheel
anticlockwise (toward you) to bring the
thread take up lever to highest position.
But incorrect the Hand Wheel
rotating direction will cause upper
and bobbin thread blockage upper
the needle plate.
Turn anticlockwise the Hand Wheel
to make the calibration tails highest
sewing.
Step 3

Blind seam

Set the Stitch Selector Dial
"K" or "L".
Set the Thread Tension Dial
Length Dial
can be adjusted
between 1-4.
For loose or thick fabric you can
overlock the raw edge, fold the fabric
and leave approx 1cm hem.
When sewing allow the needle to just
pass through the fold of the fabric.
After sewing press the fabric to make
the blind stitch visible on its face side.
Step 4

Decorative stitch

Set the Stitch Selector Dial
"G" "H" or "L".
the Thread Tension Dial
Length Dial
can be adjusted
between 1-4.
Adjust the thread tension so that the
upper thread appears on the reverse
side of the fabric. Test on a scrap
piece of fabric first to get the best
results.
Note: When sewing very thin fabrics,
it is recommended that you use
interfacing on the backside of the
fabric.
