Utility Sewing
Note:
- Ensure that the needle higher than
needle plate and fabric before
rotate the stitch selector. Otherwise
will bent the needle.
-Rotate the Hand Wheel
anticlockwise (toward you) to bring the
thread take up lever to highest position.
But incorrect the Hand Wheel
rotating direction will cause upper
and bobbin thread blockage upper
the needle plate.
Step 5
Sewing buttonholes
Step 1:
c: Turn the Stitch Selector Dial
to
and sew at moderate speed
until you reach the end of your mark.
When finished, lift the needle.
Step 2:
d: Turn the Stitch Selector Dial
to
and sew at 5-6 bar tack stitches.
When finished, lift the needle.
Step 3:
e: Turn the Stitch Selector Dial
to
and sew the left side of the
buttonhole to the mark at the end of
which is furthest from you.
When you are finished sewing the left
side, lift the needle.
Step 4:
f: Turn the Stitch Selector Dial
to
and sew 5-6 bar tack stitches.
Lift the button foot and remove the
fabric.
Finishing the buttonhole:
g: Draw the upper thread through the
backside of the garment and tie the
upper and bobbin threads together.
Cut the center of the buttonhole with
the seam un-picker being careful not
to cut the stitches on either side.
