Threading the upper thread

We recommend you remove from
the mains power before completing
all these procedures.
Tension area
Check spring holder
Thread guide
a: Raise the take-up lever to its
highest position by turning the
Hand Wheel towards you.
Raise the presser foot.
b: Carefully thread the thread from
the upper spool through the Thread
guide .
c: Hold the end of the thread and
carefully draw the thread down and
up around the Check Spring
Holder .
d: Carefully draw the thread up and
through the Thread Take-up Lever
threading from right to left.
e: Carefully pull the thread down
and pass it into the Thread Guide
Then thread the needle front to
back. Leave about 10cm 4 inches)
of thread behind the needle.
f: Put down the Presser Foot Arm
so that you can resume sewing.
Note:
Please follow these steps carefully,
if you thread the machine
incorrectly it will not sew properly.
Please always check the machine is
threaded correctly before sewing.
