Phone Lock settings
Activate the Automatic Key lock
Note: It is possible to answer/end an incoming call while the keypad is locked. If configured
in the PDM/AIWS, it is also possible to call an emergency call while the keypad is locked. See
Configuration Manual, Cordless Telephones 3740/3749 for Avaya, TD 92657GB.

Press "Menu".

Select "Settings"

Select "Locks".

Select "Automatic key lock".

Select "On" for activation of automatic key lock.
Deactivate the Automatic Key lock

Select "Automatic key lock".

Select "Off" for deactivation of automatic key lock.
Activate the Phone Lock
The telephone can be protected for unauthorized use. If this function is activated a PIN code
has to be entered at power on, or when the telephone is placed in a charger - this behaviour
will first be activated when the telephone is placed in the charger. The default phone lock
code (0000) can be changed to any 4 -8 digit personalized code.
Note: If configured in the PDM/AIWS, it is possible to call an emergency call while the
telephone is locked.See Configuration Manual, Cordless Telephones 3740/3749 for Avaya,
TD 92657GB.

Select "Locks".

Select "Phone lock".

Select "Auto phone lock".

Select "On", or "On in charger".

Enter PIN code

Press "OK".
If the PIN code is forgotten it can be removed by your distributor.
Deactivate the Phone Lock

Select "Locks".

Select "Off".
