Using the device as an FTP client

Establishing an FTP connection

To access the FTP server, you must establish a connection from the FTP client to the FTP server.
To establish an IPv4 FTP connection:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
(Optional.) Specify a source
IP address for outgoing FTP
packets.
3.
Return to user view.
4.
Log in to the FTP server.
To establish an IPv6 FTP connection:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
(Optional.) Specify the source
IPv6 address for FTP packets
sent by the FTP client.
3.
Return to user view.

(Method 1) Log in to the FTP server
directly in user view:
ftp ftp-server [ service-port ]

(Method 2) Log in to the FTP server in
FTP client view:
