determines
the
number
of rings
before the
unit
answers a
call
in
the
FAX
ONLY
mode.
You can choose
from
1
to
5
rings.
If
you use
the
unit
with
an
answering machine,
select
"5
EXT.TAM" and see
pages 65
to
67.
Helpful
hints:
• To answer
a
call
before the
unit
does, increase
the
number
of rings.
•
If
you have
difficulty
receiving faxes, the other parties
may
have
tried
to
send
faxes before confirming
if
your
unit
answered
or
not.
Decrease
the
number
of rings.
