Connect the white wire from the fan to the white wire marked "TO MOTOR N" on the receiver. Outlet box Connect the blue wire from the fan to the blue wire marked "FOR LIGHT" on the receiver. White (neutral) Black (hot) Secure each set of wire connections with the Green or bare plastic wire nuts provided in the parts bag.
Vassar 9. ATTACHING THE FAN BLADES Step 1. Insert the blade through the blade slot in the motor housing. Align the holes in blade and blade bracket, making sure the holes are also aligned and secure with the screws and fiber washers provided.
11. INSTALLING THE LIGHT FIXTURE NOTE: Before starting installation, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse at fuse box. Step 1. Loosen the three mounting screws on the inside of the light fixture. Hold the light kit close to the mounting plate and connect the white wires from the light kit and the fan.

NOTE: Turn fan off by Hand Held Remote Reverse switch Control System and let blades come to a complete stop before manually activating the reverse switch. Speed settings for warm or cool weather depend on factors such as the room size. Ceiling height, number of fans and so on.

Vassar 15. INSTALLING THE TRANSMITTER WALL BRACKET Screws 1. Choose a location for the Transmitter Wall Pocket. Any location within 30 feet from the ceiling fan remote control receiver is required. Choose a flat location, using the wall pocket as a guide, mark the wall anchor locations.
16. TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Solution Fan will not start. 1. Check circuit fuses or breakers. 2. Check all electrical connections to insure proper contact. CAUTION: Make sure the main power is OFF when checking any electrical connection. 3. Make sure the transmitter batteries are installed properly. Positive (+) side facing out.
