Suggestions
Make sure the Brother TWAIN or WIA driver is
selected as the primary source in your scanning
application. For example, in OmniPage SE 18, click
Scan Settings, and then click Select to select the
Brother TWAIN/WIA driver.
Make sure the Brother TWAIN driver is selected
as the primary source.
In PageManager 9, click File, Select Source,
and then select the Brother TWAIN driver.
OS X v10.8.x, 10.9.x, 10.10.x or later users can
also scan documents using the ICA Scanner Driver.
Check the ADF slot and make sure that the slot is
clear. If you find foreign objects, remove them from
your machine.
Adjust the Document Guide to fit the width of the
document. When Cropping is set to Automatic
(Deskew ON) and you are scanning a document
that contains multiple page sizes, insert narrow
pages straight and as close to the center of the
machine as possible. If the document does not stay
straight while feeding, use Continuous Scanning.
Make sure the document size settings are suitable
for your document.
