Allocation Length specifies the number of bytes that the initiator has allocated for INQUIRY data to be
returned. An allocation length of zero implies that no data returned. The drive will terminate the DATA IN
phase when all available INQUIRY data has been transferred or when allocation length bytes have been
transferred, whichever is less.
If an INQUIRY command is received from an initiator with a pending unit attention condition (before the
target reports CHECK CONDITION status), the drive processes the INQUIRY command. The unit
attention condition is not cleared by this action.
