Minor faults in the performance of the appliance, some of which may result from
incorrect operation, can be put right without contacting the Service Department.
The following guide is intended to help you do this.
Contact Miele if you cannot identify the cause of a problem or resolve it yourself
(see back cover for contact details).

work.
Installation, service and repairs must only be carried out by suitably qualified
personnel authorised by Miele.
Never attempt to open the housing of the Gourmet warming drawer yourself.
Problem
The Gourmet warming
drawer does not heat
up.
The food is not hot
enough.
The food is too hot.
Cause and remedy
There is no power to the Gourmet warming drawer.
 Check whether the mains fuse has tripped. If it
has, contact a qualified electrician or Miele
Service.
The operating mode for keeping food warm  is not
selected.
 Select the correct operating mode.
The temperature setting is too low.
 Select a higher temperature.
The vents are covered up.
 Make sure that the air can circulate.
The operating mode for keeping food warm  is not

 Select a lower temperature.
