Safety label on the instrument

The safety approval markings and safety tips on the device must be
observed.

EU conformity

The device fulfils the legal requirements of the applicable EU guide-
lines. By affixing the CE marking, we confirm successful testing of the
product.
You can find the EU conformity declaration on our website under
www.vega.com/downloads.

SIL conformity

VEGAVIB 63 meets the requirements of functional safety according
to IEC 61508. Further information is available in the Safety Manual
"VEGAVIB series 60".

Safety instructions for Ex areas

Please note the Ex-specific safety information for installation and op-
eration in Ex areas. These safety instructions are part of the operating
instructions manual and come with the Ex-approved instruments.
