3�1�-PRIORRECOMMENDATIONS
Inordertousethedevicesafely,itiscriticalthatindividualswhohandleitfollow
thesafetymeasuresdescribedinthestandardsofthecountrywhereitisbeing
used,usethenecessarypersonalprotectiveequipment,andpayattentiontothe
variouswarningsindicatedinthisinstructionmanual�
TheCVM-C5devicemustbeinstalledbyauthorisedandqualifiedstaff�
The power supply plug must be disconnected and measuring systems switched off before
handling,alteringtheconnectionsorreplacingthedevice�Itisdangeroustohandlethedevice
whileitispowered�
Also,itiscriticaltokeepthecablesinperfectconditioninordertoavoidaccidents,personal
injuryanddamagetoinstallations�
Themanufacturerofthedeviceisnotresponsibleforanydamageresultingfromfailurebythe
userorinstallertoheedthewarningsand/orrecommendationssetoutinthismanual,norfor
damageresultingfromtheuseofnon-originalproductsoraccessoriesorthosemadebyother

43700)�Allconnectionsarelocatedinsidetheelectricpanel�
Terminals,openingcoversorremovingelementscanexposepartsthatarehaz-
ardoustothetouchwhilethedeviceispowered�Donotusethedeviceuntilitis
fullyinstalled�
Thedevicemustbeconnectedtoapowercircuitthatisprotectedwithgl(IEC269)orMtype
fuseswitharatingof0�5to2A�Itmustbefittedwithacircuitbreakerorequivalentdevice,in
ordertobeabletodisconnectthedevicefromthepowersupplynetwork�
