6.2 Spot measurement with databus controller and
logger
6.2.1 Show readings directly
Setting up measuring cycle
1 Device -> ONLINE configuration
2 Setting up measuring cycle: Enter value and time unit (sec/min/h).
The maximum possible number of measurements is yielded from the measuring cycle.
The minimum measuring rate which can be set depends on the instrument and the pro-
bes and a check is carried out.
3 Confirm with OK.
The measurement is completed automatically when the maximum measured time is rea-
ched.
Start measurement
3 Start measurement via:
· Instrument –> Online –> Start
· Toolbar: Online Start
Start: starts a new measurement. A new measurement protocol is set up.
Stop: interrupts a running measurement.
- The measurement data is listed automatically in a table.
You can select in the icon bar whether you wish to have the data shown in diagram or
table form.
6.2.2 Storing measurement data
Measurement data can be saved either via
· Menu -> File –> Save as
· the Save icon in the icon bar.
6.2.3 Printing
1 In the menu: File -> Set up page Set format.
Tables: Portrait
Diagrams: Landscape
2 Data can be printed in diagram or table form via
· Menu -> File -> Print
· Icon for printing
A form sheet consists of:
· Protocol head with title,
· Date,
· Running serial number,
· A line with "Conditions" and additional lines for comments.
In tables:
· Starting and finishing time of a measurement,
· Channel and reading number.
