Removing and Replacing the Rear Housing

This product contains static-sensitive devices. Use anti-static handling procedures
to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) and component damage.
1. Remove the battery cover battery and SIM card as described in the procedures.
2. Slide the stylus from its holder. Use the metal tweezers to remove the rubber
screw cover at the top right of the phone. Retain the screw cover for reassembly.
3. Using a Torx driver with a T-6 bit, remove the 4 screws at each corner of the
unit and remove the back housing. Retain the screws for reassembly. See
Figure 4.

4. Release the two housing latches by inserting the flat end of the plastic
disassembly tool into side of the rear housing to disengage the latch.
