Section 4 - Configuration
In the Settings menu on the bar on the top of the page, click Wizard to open the setup wizard. This is the same wizard that appears when you start
the router for the first time. Refer to Setup Wizard on page 14 for more information.
The following pages will describe how to manually configure how your DSL-2888A connects
to the Internet. The DSL-2888A supports multiple WAN connection types and WAN failover.
We recommend setting up Internet WAN connections one at a time, Save the configuration,
and confirm the connection works before returning to this section to add additional WAN
connections.
The following configuration pages are divided by WAN Access Type.
WAN Access Type:
Select WAN interface to configure. The options are ADSL, VDSL,
Ethernet, or USB.
Select a WAN interface and refer to its configuration page for setup information.
For ADSL, refer to ADSL on page 28.
For VDSL, refer to VDSL on page 29.
For Ethernet, refer to Ethernet on page 30.
For USB, refer to USB on page 31.

Use this section to configure your Internet Connection type. There are several connection types to choose
from Static IP, DHCP, PPPoE, PPTP, L2TP and DS-Lite. If you are unsure of your connection method, please
