Encoder Body Types

The encoder is available in two different body shapes. A Power over Ethernet type and a type that
accepts DC power on the 8 way connector on the rear of the module. The two different body styles
are shown below.

Part Numbers

Each encoder is fitted with a part number label. The label details the encoder's default IP address
and its unique serial number. The part number of each encoder is explained in the table below.
