18.2 Thermal Fuse
•
Read the notes at the head of this section before commencing
any work on the appliance.
•
The thermal fuse is located at the top right of the heat
exchanger.
•
Squeeze the plug to disconnect catch and pull off the electrical
connector. Then using a spanner remove the thermal fuse. Note this
is a dry pocket and does not require the boiler to be drained.
•

18.3 Fan
•
Read the notes at the head of this section before commencing any work on the
appliance.
•
Swing the control panel down towards you exposing the gas valve and hydraulic
circuits. Undo the nut on top of the gas valve, fi gure 28, and release the pipe from the fan
assembly. (Be careful not to damage or dislodge the restrictor located in the gas valve outlet)
•
Remove the nuts securing the fan assembly to the front of the heat exchanger and , pull
the fan assembly forward giving access to the fan connections.
•
Release the electrical leads and remove the burner/fan assembly
•
Fit the replacement fan unit in reverse order and reconnect all electrical leads.
18.4 Spark Generator
•
Read the notes at the head of this section before commencing any work
on the appliance.
•
NOTE the orientation of the spark generator and locations, 1-4, of the cables attached
before removing them. See Figure 33.

Remove the two screws securing the generator.
•
Fit the new generator in the same orientation and reattach the leads to terminals 1-4
as removed. See Figure 33.
