Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch
the function to MD.

Perform the following procedure
depending on what you want to label:
To label a track
Press MD . or > on the remote
repeatedly until the desired track number
appears, then press NAME EDIT/SELECT
on the remote.
To label an MD
Press NAME EDIT/SELECT on the remote
while the total number of tracks (or groups
when the Group Function is on) is
displayed.
To label a group
Press GROUP on the remote repeatedly
until "GROUP ON" appears, then press
GROUP SKIP on the remote repeatedly
until the desired group appears. Press
NAME EDIT/SELECT on the remote while
the total number of tracks within the desired
group is displayed.
The cursor starts flashing.

Press NAME EDIT/SELECT on the
remote to select the desired type of
character.

Press the corresponding
letter button (or MENU

repeatedly until the
character to be entered
flashes, then press
CURSORt on the
remote.
Press the corresponding
numeric buttons on the
remote.
Press 10/0 on the remote.
Press 1 on the
remote repeatedly.
then press MENU +/–
repeatedly.
