7. Slide the power backplane towards the rear of the system and remove it from
the chassis.
8. Position the replacement power supply backplane in the system and slide it
to the front of the chassis so that the tabs on the backplane bracket slide into
the slots in the chassis.
9. Install the thumbscrew securing the power backplane to the system chassis.
See Figure 62, D.
10. Connect all cables to the power backplane removed in Step 5.
11. Install the system power supply following procedures found in this chapter.
If an optional power supply was removed, install it also.
12. Install the top cover as described earlier in this chapter.
Your system weighs approximately 65 pounds (29.25 kg). If
your system contains numerous optional boards and
peripheral devices, it will weigh more. To avoid personal
injury, make sure you have someone help you lift or move
the system.
13. Install the system into the system rack.
14. Plug in the server power cord, and power on the server.
15. Install and secure the front bezel following procedures described earlier in
this chapter.
