The PRD (Fig.) provides a level of appliance protection should an excessive build up of pressure occur within the shower.

The ‘HIGH’ and ‘POWER On’ indicators will light for a few seconds and after a short delay water will begin to flow. It will take about thirty seconds for a smooth flow of water to be obtained while air and any debris in the system is being flushed from the shower.
