The first operation of the shower is intended to flush out any remaining unit debris and to ensure the heater unit contains water before the elements are switched on.

The purge pin is located on the remote pack PCB inside the unit (fig.). Pull the pin off its two pins and, in order to store it for use at a later date, replace it on one of the pins.
