Adjusting the Tracking
1. Disengage the blade-control switch (PTO).
2. Drive to an open, flat area and move the motion-control
levers to the N
EUTRAL
3. Move the throttle midway between the F
positions.
4. Move both motion-control levers forward until they
both hit the stops in the T-slot.
5. Check which way the machine tracks.
6. If the machine tracks to the right, insert a 3/16 inch
hex wrench through the access hole in the right front
cover panel and rotate the tracking screw clockwise
or counterclockwise to adjust the travel of the lever
(Figure
58).
7. If the machine tracks to the left, insert a 3/16 inch
hex wrench through the access hole in the right front
cover panel and rotate the tracking screw clockwise
or counterclockwise to adjust the travel of the lever
(Figure
58).
8. Drive the machine and check the full forward tracking.
9. Repeat the adjustment until the desired tracking is
obtained.
