Adjustable back sling
(Fig.4.31)
The adjustable back-sling can
be adjusted for tension by using
several straps.
The back-sling upholstery can
be accessed from the inside
via an opening and can be
upholstered to suit individual
tastes
Adjustable backrest height
The backrest height can be individually adjusted in 2.5
cm steps (3 adjustment ranges: 1 x 25-30 cm, 30-40 cm,
40-45 cm).
Undo the screws (1) and set the backrest to the required
height. Then tighten the screws again (see the page on
torque).
CAUTION!
Please take into account the altered centre of gravity
when setting the angle of the backrest.

Armrests

WARNING!
None of the armrest, side guards or arm pads used on
this wheelchair are to be used for lifting or carrying the
wheelchair.
Standard height adjustable, flip up arm rest,
(Fig.4.32-4.33).
The front of the armrest is
shaped to allow you to pull up
close to a desk or table top.
To flip the guard up, push the
lever (1) to unlock the armrest.
The height of the armrest can
be adjusted by pushing the
button located under the arm
pad (2).
Standard fixed height, flip up
arm rest.
As above but with no height
adjustment.
Single post, height adjustable Quickie-style armrest,
(Fig.4.34).

Adjust the height
of the armrest as
follows: Press the
tab (1) and move to
the desired position.
Release the tab and
push the armpad
down until you can
hear it lock into
place. Always make
sure that the armrest has locked into place properly.
To remove the armrest, press the lever (2) and lift it
out.
WARNING!
24" rear wheels require the armpad to be re-adjusted
by one setting (upwards), to avoid finger entrapment!

Padded Quickie-style armrest
The padded Quickie-style
armrest is lightweight for
active users and can be
swung-away or completely
detached to aid
transfers. (Fig.4.35).

Sideguards

Straight aluminium side guard, (Fig.4.36).
Aluminium and painted to
match the frame colour, this
straight side guard provides
protection from debris, whilst
improving comfort through
a foam inlay, also aiding
stability for the user.
Available as fixed (standard
option) or with slide back
option.
Straight aluminium side guard with fender, (Fig.4.37)
Aluminium and painted to
match the frame colour, this
side guard extends and rolls
over the wheel to provide
added protection from debris,
whilst improving comfort

through a foam inlay, also
aiding stability for the user.
Available as fixed (standard
option) or with slide back
option especially suited
for use with mountain bike
wheels.
Straight carbon fibre style side guard
with fender, (Fig.4.38).

users looking to save weight.

Slide back option,

Chosen in combination with
the straight aluminium side
guard (Fig.4.36) or the
straight aluminium side
guard with fender (Fig.4.37)
this option allows the chosen
side guard to be flipped back
to aid with side transfers.
