Serial Ports
Two COM connections (COM1 &
COM2) are located on the mother-
board. COM1 is located on the Back-
plane I/O panel. COM2, located next to
the Front Control Panel, provides front
access support. See the table on the
right for pin definitions.
COM2 Pin Layout
Ethernet Ports
Four Gigabit Ethernet ports (LAN1/3,
LAN2/4) are located next to the VGA
Connector on the I/O Back panel to
provide network connections. In addi-
tion, a dedicated IPMI LAN, supported
by the BMC controller, is also located
on the I/O panel. These ports accept
RJ45 type cables.
