1.5 Warranty Information
Components comprising the CELL-DYN 3200 System have
been designed by Abbott Laboratories for optimal performance.
Substitution of reagents, accessories, or system components
may adversely affect performance and may invalidate any
warranty agreements.
Abbott Laboratories cannot accept responsibility for any clinical
results produced by use of reagents, calibrators, controls,
equipment, or supplies either not manufactured by or not
approved by Abbott Laboratories.

1.6 System Introduction

Each CELL-DYN 3200 System may be comprised of three or
four major hardware components: Analyzer, Video Display,
Keyboard, and optional Sample Loader.

The CELL-DYN 3200 Hematology System

When approaching a hematology system from a service
perspective, the word "system" must be emphasized because
there are both "internal components" (system hardware and
software) and "external components" (reagents, controls, etc.)
that comprise the complete system. The Service
Representative must realize that both of these types of
components can adversely affect overall system performance.
Therefore, it follows that all external components and
conditions such as reagents, environment, integrity of samples
and controls be checked and verified as correct before
performing service on the internal components. In the
investigation of any non-specific or data related complaint, the
system hardware and software should be the last components
of the system to be suspected as the cause of the problem.
