MIN) (Check on the EVF or LCD) (Note 1)
Note 1: Setting volume with adjusting remote commander
1) Set data: 02 to page: 0, address: FF.
2) Set data: 05 to page: 2, address: 01.
3) Set data: 08 to page: 3, address: 49.
The headphone volume will be set by the above data
settings. After checking the playback level, return the
data settings to the original settings.
1) Set data: 02 to page: 0, address: FF.
2) Set data: 00 to page: 2, address: 01.
3) Set data: 00 to page: 0, address: FF.
Checking Method
1) Check that the playback signal level of the headphone output
(Note 2) is the specified value.
Note 2: Impose a 8 Ω resistance to the left video audio/
headphone terminal, and turn the power ON from OFF,
or with the 8 Ω load, set the headphone output mode by
inserting the headphone terminal.
Note 3: When the tape for audio check is played back on this
unit, the output waveform in the video/audio output
mode will distort. The waveform will also distort near
the MAX volume in the headphone output mode. Do
not suspect a fault.

Connection:
Connect the following terminals of the 26PIN multi connector using
a resistor.
1) Connect a 22 kΩ resistor between Pin 8 (S STATUS) and Pin
!§ (GND).
(Turn OFF SW2 of the I/O board-1 tool.)
2) Connect a 470 kΩ resistor between Pin 6 (S STATUS2) and Pin
!§ (GND).
(Turn ON SW3 of the I/O board-1 tool.)
Checking Method
1) Input a 1kHz, –44 dBs signal to Pins !∞ (left) and !£ (right) of
the 26PIN multi connector.
2) Check that the levels and level difference of the left and right
channels of the video output (Note 1) satisfy the specified values.
Note 1:Impose a 47 kΩ resistance to the left video audio/
headphone terminal, and turn the power ON from OFF.
