3-1-2. Precautions on Adjusting
1) The adjustments of this unit are performed in the VTR mode or
camera mode.
To set to the VTR mode, set the power switch to "VTR" (or
PLAYER) or set the "Forced VTR Power ON Mode" using the
adjusting remote commander (Note 1).
To set to the camera mode, set the power switch to "CAMERA"
or set the "Forced Camera Power ON Mode" using the adjusting
remote commander (Note 2).
After completing the adjustments, be sure to exit the "Forced
VTR Power ON Mode" or "Forced Camera Power ON Mode".
(Note 3)
2) Because the cabinet (L) is attached with the FZ4800 board (CC
DOWN switch, zoom switch), be sure to connect FZ4800 board
when recording and playing back. If the cabinet (L) comes in the
way, remove FZ4800 board from the cabinet (L), and connect to
CN6103 (5P, 0.5mm) of the MR-36 board. Set the CC DOWN
switch to ON normally (pressed state), and turn it OFF only when
ejecting.
3) The viewfinder need not be connected (except during battery end
adjustment). Disconnect the following connector when adjusting.
1. CN1000 of VC-183 board (20P, 0.5mm, B-B)
4) The lens block need not be connected in adjustments other than
the camera system adjustments (except during battery end
adjustment). Disconnect the following connector when adjusting.
1. CN200 of VC-183 board (50P, 0.5mm, B-B)
5) If ejection need not be performed, the VK4800 control switch
block (power switch, eject switch, start/stop switch, VTR function
switch) need not be connected as long as the "Forced Power ON
Mode" is set.
Disconnect the following connector when removing it.
1. CN2300 of VC-183 board (20P, 0.5mm)
After completing adjustments, be sure to exit the "Forced Power
ON Mode".
6) When opening the MR-36 board, use the following extension
cord.
1. J-6082-374-A (18P, 0.5mm)
7) When removing the cabinet (R) (DD-91 board, LCD block,
microphone, speaker, ME4800 switch block), only the DD-91
board will need to be connected to operate the unit. Remove the
DD-91 board from the cabinet (R), and connect it to CN6200 of
the VC-183 board (60P, 0.5 mm, B-B) and CN6102 of the MR-
36 board (30P, 0.5mm, B-B). When removing the LCD block,
microphone, speaker, and ME4800 switch block, disconnect the
following connectors.
1. CN2301 of VC-183 board (5P, 0.5 mm)
(ME4800 switch block)
2. CN4700 of VC-183 board (4P, 1.0 mm) (microphone)
3. CN4701 of VC-183 board (2P, 1.0 mm) (speaker)
4. CN1001 of VC-183 board (6P, 1.0 mm) (LCD block)
5. CN1002 of VC-183 board (11P, 1.0 mm) (LCD block)
8) If the DD-91 board is disconnected from the VC-183 board, the
lithium 3V power supply will also be disconnected and all data
set by the user such as date, time, menu, etc. will be erased. Set
these data again after completing the adjustments.
Note 1: Setting the "Forced VTR Power ON" Mode (VTR Mode)
1) Set data: 01 to page: 1, address: 00.
2) Set data: 02 to page: D, address: 10, and press the PAUSE
button of the remote commander.
The above procedure will enable the VTR power to be
turned on with the VK4800 operation switch block
removed.
After completing adjustments, be sure to exit the "Forced
VTR Power ON" mode.
Note 2: Setting the "Forced Camera Power ON" Mode (Camera
Mode)
1) Set data: 01 to page: 1, address: 00.
2) Set data: 01 to page: D, address: 10, and press the PAUSE
button of the remote commander.
The above procedure will enable the camera power to
be turned on with the VK4800 operation switch block
removed.
After completing adjustments, be sure to exit the "Forced
VTR Power ON" mode.
Note 3: Exiting the "Forced Power ON" Mode
1) Set data: 01 to page: 1, address: 00.
2) Set data: 00 to page: D, address: 10, and press the PAUSE
button of the remote commander.
3) Set data: 00 to page: 1, address: 00.
