1-1-2. Preparations
Note 1: For details of how to remove the cabinet and boards, refer
to "2. Removal".
Note 2: When performing only the adjustments, the lens block and
boards need not be disassembled. (except for the GUM PLL
adjustment and the original oscillation adjustmet)
1) Connect the equipment for adjustments according to Fig. 6-1-3.
2) By setting the "Forced Camera Power ON" mode, the camera
power can be turned on with the VK4800 operation switch block
(power switch, start/stop switch, VTR function switch) removed.
If removing the VK4800 operation switch block, remove the
following connector.
1. VC-183 board CN2300 (20P, 0.5 mm)
After completing adjustments, be sure to exit the "Forced Camera
Power ON" mode.
Note 1: Setting the "Forced Camera Power ON" Mode
1) Set data: 01 to page: 1, address: 00.
2) Set data: 01 to page: D, address: 10, and press the PAUSE
button of the remote commander.
To use the "Forced Camera Power ON" Mode and
"DDS' display of EVF and LCD" Mode together, set
data: 41 to page: D, address: 10.
The above procedure will enable the camera power to be
turned on with the VK4800 operation switch block removed.
After completing adjustments, be sure to exit the "Forced
Camera Power ON" mode.
Note 2: Exiting the "Forced Camera Power ON" Mode
1) Set data: 01 to page: 1, address: 00.
2) Set data: 00 to page: D, address: 10, and press the PAUSE
button of the remote commander.
3) Set data: 00 to page: 1, address: 00.
