This section describes the operations to make to separate of the motor of the vehicle.

Exhaust assy. Removal

•
Unscrew the 3 screws fixing the muffler
to the engine crankcase and the sup-
porting arm;
•
Loosen the bolt holding the muffler to
the exhaust manifold; after that, re-
move the muffler backwards.
•
Unscrew the 2 nuts that fix the exhaust
manifold to the head and remove it.

Removal of the engine from the vehicle

•
Remove the side panels
•
Undo the 2 screws fixing the rear brake
calliper to the supporting arm and re-
move it.
•
Keep the pipes connected to the cal-
liper and move it aside towards the
vehicle front part so as not to hinder the
next removal operations.
