Calculation of IRR produced a negative answer, but the HP-18C has
determined that there is also a unique positive answer. (Refer to page

The HP-18C is unable to calculate 1% YR. Check the values stored in
PV, PMT, and FY. Make sure the signs of the numbers are correct. If
the values of PY, PMT, and FV are correct, the calculation is too com-
plex for the
TVM
menu . You may be able to perform the calculation
using the CFLO menu (calculate IRR%).
