10.2 The Manhattan II DAC Standard Remote (RC5) Setup.
1. Turn the knob around until you see „Remote" menu then press the third button to activate the
menu.
2. Choose „RC5" option. „Remote Addr" appears on the left.
3. Activate „Remote Addr" menu by pressing the fourth button. The menu should be backlited with
blue colour.
4. Press any button on the RC5 compatible remote. The Manhattan II DAC will find the address
automatically
5. Done! - the remote is paired.

12. Warranty
Each individual Manhattan II DAC undergoes comprehensive quality control and a complete test before
shipping. This Manhattan II DAC is warranted by Mytek to the original purchaser against defects in
workmanship and materials used in manufacture for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
Faults due to customer misuse, unauthorized modifications or accidents are not covered by this
warranty. No other warranty is expressed or implied.
If you suspect that your product is faulty, please contact your local retailer. Prior to shipping customer
or retailer must obtain an RMA number from Mytek for warranty services. Units sent without RMA
number will not be accepted.
Mytek extends affordable repair service for all units manufactured to date that are

plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
• When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury
from tip-over.
• Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has
been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled
or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture,
does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
