INITIAL NETWORK CONFIGURATION – TGSH DIALOG
INITIAL NETWORK CONFIGURATION – TGSH DIALOG
The initial network configuration is completed in the TGSH Dialog. The goal is to complete the basic
configuration that will allow access to the OpAdmin interface tool to finish the remaining configuration,
including the license, email host, SSL Certificates, etc.
DHCP Users: The following steps assume that you are using static IP addresses. If you are using DHCP to
obtain your IPs, then please see the Threat Grid Appliance Administrator's Guide for more information.

In the TGSH Dialog interface, select CONFIG_NETWORK. The Network Configuration console opens:

Complete the blank fields according to the settings provided by your network administrator for the

clean, dirty, and admin interfaces.
Change DHCP Enabled from Y to N.

Note:
You need to BACKSPACE over the old character before you can enter the new one.

DNS NAME. If your network is using a DNS name for the clean network, then enter the name here.
Leave Configure Non-Default Routes? set to the default of N (unless additional routes are needed).
