APPENDIX A – CIMC CONFIGURATION (RECOMMENDED)
The first window displayed as the server is booting is the Cisco window, which allows you to enter the
Cisco Integrated Management Controller ("CIMC") Configuration Utility. The CIMC interface can be used for
remote server management.
You will need a monitor and keyboard attached directly to the appliance.
Power on the server. The Cisco screen opens:
