The GbE2 Interconnect Switch SNMP agent supports the following generic traps as defined
in RFC 1215:

Description
Signifies that the default gateway is alive.
Signifies that the default gateway is down.
Signifies that the default gateway is up and in
service.
Signifies that the default gateway is alive but not in
service.
Signifies that someone failed to enter a valid
username/password combination.
Signifies that the primary power supply failed.
Indicates that the sending agent has transitioned to
Master state.
Indicates that the sending agent has transitioned to
Backup state.
Signifies that a packet has been received from a
router whose authentication key or authentication
type conflicts with this router's authentication key or
authentication type. Implementation of this trap is
optional.
